Racing Winds is a website intended for the use of the general public. That said, there are a few ground rules.
-
I.Terms of Use and Intellectual Property
All book excerpts, copyrighted material, and any intellectual property used on the website is copyright 2008-2010 Taylor Michie d/b/a Racing Winds. The only information that may be quoted or used without permission is press releases from the press center. All other pictures, videos, or information found on MediaNet requires an authorized account or specified permission to access.
-
II.Requesting Permission
Permission to use items other than press releases can be obtained through Racing Winds. Permission will be given in writing only. To request permission, please email pr@racingwinds.com with the following information: your name, organization name, your email, your address, your phone number, type of information requested, and how you intend to use it. Please include any other information you find relevant. Within 48 hours, we will confirm your request via email. We will evaluate your request and respond with any question. Within one (1) week we will submit you an approval of permission via postal mail.

III.Sharing Pictures, Press Releases, or other Information
If you want to show off a picture of ours in your blog, we’d love for you to embed it. However, we request that you provide a link to the picture (not a picture click-through) under it, as well as providing the name of the person who took the picture. The same goes for quoting a press release on your blog or website. You may quote the full text, but please provide a link to the full PDF press release, as well as using quotation marks around the text or using the path: blockquote feature on Wordpress.
If you are in doubt whether posting will violate the Terms and Conditions, refrain from posting or email us at pr@racingwinds.com. You will always need to cite anything that comes from the website.

IV.Contacting Us
We love to hear from you. You can contact us via email, phone, or the little contact form on this page, but, please, keep it real. We don’t accept solicitations or sponsorship requests. If you’re looking for resources on how to publish your book or promote it, please use the form located on our contact page.
